Jo has been hairdressing for 20 years, she completed her apprenticeship at the "House of Earnest" and went on to establish her own business. Her professional reputation is established as a wedding artist. Jo can offer personalized special occasion make-up and hair artistry to compliment your choice of gown and style for weddings and balls.

I am a qualified hairdresser with 14 years experience in the hairdressing industry. One of the first things I asked to be taught when starting my apprenticeship was how to do a French roll. Everyone thought I was crazy, but I continued to learn hair-up styles and had bridal parties and balls booked as soon as I possibly could.

I have always had a desire to learn makeup, but it took some time before I found the right person to teach me. I eventually met one of the top makeup artists in Perth and became her student. That was 7 years ago and I immediately started working for myself. The majority of work that I have been involved with since has been bridal, as well as balls, special occasion, photo shoots and some television.

I get so much enjoyment when I’m working with a bridal party. I love being part of the preparations for a persons wedding day, it makes me feel fantastic that I’ve helped someone look and feel so beautiful for such a special day.
